Clinical Supervision

I offer clinical supervision to Counsellors, Psychotherapists, GP's, Nurses and Teachers seeking a reflective, supportive, and ethically grounded space to think about their work.

Supervision provides an opportunity to explore clinical material with care and depth, to notice relational dynamics as they arise in the work, and to support your own emotional and professional wellbeing as a practitioner. The emphasis is on thoughtful reflection rather than performance, and on developing confidence that is rooted in awareness rather than certainty.

My approach to supervision is Integrated with a person centred foundation that is relational and trauma-informed. I pay attention not only to theory and technique, but also to the emotional, somatic, and relational processes that shape therapeutic work. This includes attending to power, responsibility, attachment dynamics, and the impact of the work on you as a clinician.

Supervision sessions are collaborative and thoughtfully paced. They aim to support ethical practice, deepen clinical understanding, and offer a steady, containing space where uncertainty, complexity, and not-knowing are welcome.

Model of Supervision
I use the Hawkins Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision which integrates relational, reflective, and trauma-informed perspectives. Rather than following a rigid structure, sessions are responsive to what you bring, while holding professional standards, client safety, and your development as a practitioner in mind.
The focus includes:
-
Reflective exploration of clinical material
-
Awareness of relational and attachment dynamics
-
Ethical decision-making and professional responsibility
-
Supporting the therapist’s emotional and nervous-system regulation
-
Developing confidence, clarity, and sustainability in practice
